I'm just a person who's deeply interested in systems - in particular, the US medical system and all its imperfections (incl. but not limited to so-called emergent properties).

Some things on my mind lately:

• data privacy!
• data justice, surveillance capitalism, digital health, ...
• privacy policies, privacy officers, & opting-out (viz., protections in theory vs real-world scenarios)
• rights as a patient, and how to optimize for patient's necessary goal, whilst managing multi-level constraints
• medical system particulars (...perhaps how hospital administrators run and what the expected outcome is for patients)
• the in-progress adoption of AI for medical record custodians
• inferences drawn from personal information
• ...and the consequences to civilians (e.g., insurance underwriting, settlement denials due to preexisting conditions)
• provider decision-making over seemingly inconsequential things, such as over-documenting what is not clinically relevant
• and so much more I hope to catalog
